Completely manufactured and assembled by Digga, using only the highest-grade materials and strictest quality control.
Fitted a with Digga designed Eaton bell motors with integrated pressure relief valve and input housing. The innovative design allows the gearbox to go down the hole to maximise drilling depth without extensions, eliminating downtime and minimises maintenance, optimising your returns.
The New Halo System
Highly visible indicator
Halo features recessed high accuracy inclination green and red LED indicators, which can be clearly seen in daylight. With Halo, there in no need for an in-cab display screen, and no need to take your eyes off the job to realign your auger.
No setup battery option
Halo can be connected to the in-cab cigarette lighter, or powered by a magnetised rechargeable battery, and can be charged via USB or a 240V wall charger. The battery pack can be attached to the drive hood, frame, machine boom, or placed in-cab.
Set angle of inclination
The battery powered option features a ‘zeroing’ function which lets the operator set the angle of inclination with the press of a button. This feature is ideal for the installation of shade sails.
Technologically advanced
HALO utilises a microprocessor and 6 sensors to provide accurate readings to +/- 0.25 degrees – Even under heavy vibration. Effectively eliminating the need for a spotter with a spirit level. The dust/water proof LED ring is also recessed into the hood to protect it from knocks.
Auger Flights
A4 Earth
The A4 is the Contractor’s choice able to drill holes in earth and clay and designed specifically for the tough Australian conditions. Available in Earth and Multi Faceted Tungsten (MFT) for general drilling.
RC4 Earth/Rock
Digga’s RC4 Augers come with tapered tungsten TAPERLOC teeth, which are designed for drilling in earth, shale, asphalt, permafrost and fracturable rock.
DR4 dedicated rock
Featuring rotating rock picks specially designed for drilling from soft fracturable rock to very hard rock. DR’s also feature short flighting to encourage regular spoil removal, allowing cool air to enter the hole, and facilitate regular inspection of teeth.
